One of the core aspirations of CUPAGIS was to extend the teaching of precision agriculture curricula towards serving society in a much wider sense.
Part of this link is Precision Agriculture using SENsing data Service Office (PASENSO) units organised in each PC university. Their strategic objective is to create conditions for the development of the project results after its completion. See Section Project Documentation for further information about these units (partially in French).
The links to society are further institutionalised by cooperation agreements “CUPAGIS University – Enterprise” (so-called CUPAGIS Plus agreements). The agreements are generally for 5 years, to implement, disseminate and further develop the results of CUPAGIS, to take part in quality assessment and modernization of the implemented curricula, providing internships, etc. In total, 18 such agreements have been signed: by P6 Sidi bel Abbes with 2 partners, by P7 Oran with 5 partners, by P8 Tiaret with 3 partners, by P9 Mostagenem with 6 partners, and by P10 ENSA with 2 partners:
